1. Data Controller
The controller of your personal data is ByteCube. For any data protection matters, please contact us at the e-mail address listed on our website.
2. What data we collect and why
We process personal data in the following situations:
- Apply form submissions — publisher name, PIDs, contact e-mails and any optional notes you choose to provide. Processed for the purpose of evaluating and onboarding new publishing partners (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — steps prior to entering into a contract — or Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in evaluating partnership requests).
- Website usage data — information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referral source) if you grant consent. See section 6 below.
3. How long we keep your data
- Apply form submissions — up to 24 months from the date of submission, unless a business relationship is established.
- Analytics and marketing data — for the period specified by the relevant cookie (typically up to 24 months) or until you withdraw consent.
4. Who we share your data with
Your data may be shared with trusted third-party IT service providers that support our operations (e.g. e-mail hosting, website hosting, analytics and advertising platforms). All such providers act on our instructions under appropriate data processing agreements.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of the tools we may use (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Insight) are provided by companies based in the United States. When we use such tools, your data may be transferred outside the EEA. We rely on safeguards approved by the European Commission — in particular Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Cookies
This website uses cookies and similar technologies. We distinguish the following categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function. Set without consent, on the basis of our legitimate interest.
- Analytics — e.g. Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our site. Set only after you consent.
- Marketing — e.g. Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, used to measure advertising effectiveness and build audiences. Set only after you consent.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data, as well as withdraw any consent given at any time and lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The current version is always available through the "Privacy Policy" link in the footer.
